Yes, reading your procedural safeguards is as exciting as watching paint dry!

However, It is crucial for parents/guardians to read their copy of their individual State Procedural Safeguards Notice.  This document outlines rights under federal law for students from ages 3-21.  Unfortunately, one of three things may very well occur:: The parent/guardian never received it from the district in the first place.  It is filed away under a mountain of papers.  The third possibility is that the parent/guardian may have a reading disability of their own and it is just too hard to navigate.  I can help you make sense of all the jargon and can explain the terminology in every day language.
